EPISODE 1: THE PILOT

 Hello everyone!!!

I am just about to get on my flight to go quarantine for another 10 days!!! I am so (not)excited.

Just a few updates from this week, we finished our quarantine and were almost immediatley shuttled to the London Airport which was 5 hours away.

We did a few fun things this week, first one of the Elders in the Polish room next to us revealed that he was a poem writer and so we made him tell us a poem every morning before breakfast and every evening before bed.

President Nelson Gave us his message of hope this week and what a message it was. I heard that some people were expecting more and some grand invitation. This reminds me of a scripture story where a man with lepracy went to the prophet and asked what he should do to be healed. The prophet told him to wash in the river jordan 7 times (I believe) and he would be healed. The man thought that this was stupid and almost didn't do it, his servant told him if it was something big and grand he would definitley do it, so why not try this simple task and see if it works. Turns out it did, the moral is that God is going to provide a way for us to accomplish what he wants and sometimes what he wants is something simple that might just leave a big impact on the world.

I haven't been writing in a journal while I have been here because I thought oh I will just remember the stories and cool things but someone told me that will probably not happen so I bought a journal and I just did my first entry and let me tell you that it felt so good and I know that this will help me remember all the life changing, funny, crazy, and even scary moments of my mission.

That is really all for this week and I will have a new Pday next week so expect another email on Tuesday I think.
