WEEK 2 & 3

 

Hello everyone!

 

I am so so sorry that I didn't send out an email last week, to be honest with you guys I really struggled last week and this week, I have faced a lot of challenges and I am really struggling with the language, but none the less I know why I am out here and that it is for the right reasons.

 

I don't have a ton to write about but I will fill you in as much as possible. Me and my Comp Elder Yospe, started teaching a very nice catholic lady who is super sweet and is from mississippi. We have had 4 lessons with her now and each lesson we get to see her spirit grow as she learns more and starts to really understand the gospel and the Book of Mormon.

 

I got my reassignment!! I am going to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana Mission!!! And I am so excited, of course I am a little disappointed that I don't get to go straight to Germany, but I know that the Lord has a plan for me and that he is looking out for me.

 

I might have the coolest companion ever because he painted me a picture of Hercules from the Disney movie with his famous phrase, "I can go the distance" Which is so cool! I love this quote because I know that I can go the distance because I have my Heavenly Father on my side.
